Collection Daks (Ready to wear S/S 2013), Materials Prismacolor pencils on brown paper.

The other day I was trawling through some of the London Fashion Week videos/photos and this collection by Daks really caught my eye. White dresses always look lovely which made this collection so elegant. So I thought I’d have a go at sketching a few. I was planning to do about three but spent more time than anticipated on this one. I’m really liking how Prismacolor pencils blend so nicely, allowing you to create a nice skin tone!

On Monday I’ll be back at Uni again – so a massive stationary and winter clothing shopping spree is in order! I’ve also been thinking of buying a Kanken for a while now, so I’m finally going to bite the bullet and get one. ^_^

Hope you’re all having a great weekend! And hello to my new followers! To see more illustration work, click here.

Great work Philippa! I've been going through Fashion week photos and I end up with the feeling of wanting to draw them all. There's so much inspiration. This drawing looks fantastic! I need to get a brown paper sketchbook because I usually just draw on left over from the kraft paper I draft patterns on.
Have fun on your shopping spree and I hope we get to see some of the new stuff.

Waaaah I was wondering about this! I started thinking, oh no what if it's got lost and some random mail man has it hanging in his house asdfghjkl! I'm SO glad it arrived safely, and I'm happy that it arrived just after your birthday because it probably made it more of a surprise! Parents! *shakes fist* 😉 haha

Hope you had a wonderful birthday and I love you too!!!

This is prettyyy as always! I have no drawing skills whatsoever so I can't comment on any of the technical aspects of it, haha.

Back-to-uni shopping is probably the only part of going back to uni I enjoy. Did you end up getting the Kanken? I love mine, I use it all the time!
