Fashionary sketchbook
These illustrations were done in my new Fashionary Sketchbook! it is an awesome little tool for designers and creatives! It contains blank, faint body silhouettes on each page allowing you to draw or design outfits whilst retaining some consistency! The pages are made from good quality paper too, allowing you to paint, stick things down or anything you may need to do to make your creations shine! It’s basically like a Moleskine for fashion designers, definitely check them out if this sounds like your type of thing!
I can’t believe that the last time I posted was in April. Wow. I’m back now though and I’m overjoyed that I can finally swap lab reports for sketches. This academic year has been fun but it feels like it’s dragged so much; I feel like the right hemisphere of my brain has been neglected for too long. I did the sketch above to retain some of that much needed science-art equilibrium. If you’ve still got exams I wish you the best of luck with them! Just try to maintain the thought that you’ll be free in no time :).
Next week I’ll be flying to the Philippines to see family, I’m so excited – I cannot even begin to express in words. Travelling for 25 hours and then seeing your family (after years) waiting for you at arrivals is the best feeling in the world. As I get older I still can’t find a feeling that beats it. I’m going to be bringing my laptop and dslr so hopefully I can do a weekly update (if I’m not busy failing miserably at karaoke).
I would love to know what you’ve all been up to or any plans you have for the next few weeks. I feel like we all need a big catch up!

I love how your style has developed over the time I've been visiting the site, it's wonderful. You're ace at fashion sketches Philippa! 🙂 Very best of luck with your exams. It's great you had the willpower to keep on blogspot for that time! I haven't posted in a while though, I'm loosing the mojo a bit!

Thank you Katie, same back at you! I've watched your style develop over on your blog too and I'm constantly in awe at everything you produce! And thanks for wishing me luck, my exams are over now yaaay. I know how you feel about posting aswell, sometimes I'll post 6 times a week, other time I'll post once a month – maybe I should start building a backlog of posts so they come at a more constant rate. I'm looking forward to having time to read all my favourite blogs again (ie. yours!) 🙂 hope you've been well.
