Fig & radish drawing

This fig and radish drawing was created whilst coming up with packaging concepts for a premium catering company. What was really nice about this project was the challenge of trying to capture both light and texture. This was done by using fine, subtle line work for the smoother areas and more abstract textures for the leaves and outer layer of the fig.

Over the years I’ve bought so many expensive pens, but cheap Bic Biros will forever remain one of my favourites.
